Kelch install new presetting facility in the STEM centre
The new STEM centre at the Middlesborogh College has been set up to prepare engineering students for the work place. The machine shop simulates the type of environment they will enter once they qualify.
Kelch have installed a Kenova Measure line V345 tool presetter with PC touch screen control and advanced non contact camera measuring. The presetter is connected to the machine tool control so that measured data can be sent directly. This eliminates the errors possible when transferring manually. In addition to the presetting hardware, Kelch have provided the presetter training and developed the systems integration link to the machine tool controls in collaboration with XYZ Machine Tools.
