Kenova Set line V6.. series

The robust design of the new Kenova Setline V646 tool presetter was selected by Daido in Ilminster for their tool presetting and measuring needs. The newly designed presetter range Kenova Set line V6 is available in three options, all from torsion free cast iron. The V646 full CNC axis movement selected by Daido, allows the tools to be set to the highest accuracy and repeatability every time. This new range from Kelch provides a market leading automatic presetter, packed with high end features at an affordable price. The powerful control and stable software will allow them to integrated into third party software applications or link to machine controls. This offers a great solution when working towards your Industry 4.0  'Smart Factory' where automation of processes are key.

The presetter is also equipped with the Kelch Contour software module to automatically check tool profiles and contours for straight or helical grooved form tools. The bearings manufactured by Daido rely on form tools to finish specific profiles. In the past they have relied on their tooling supplier to deliver the correct form. With no means to check, there has been some problems where the form is incorrect. All form tools are now checked on the presetter and a report is produced to quality assure the tools and give traceability. This prevents costly errors at the final stage of machining. The Contour module is quick and simple to use and gives the capability of ensuring the profile is correct and is invaluable to businesses such as mould and die.
