Kelch offer a gauging system to ensure the location tapers meet the required specification. Assuming they are correct, can mean compromising accuracy of the cutting process. This can have an impact on the surface finish, accuracy, tool life and spindle bearings, if the connection of the holder to the spindle is incorrect.
