KELCH tool presetters are engineered for long-lasting accuracy, with a robust mechanical build designed for stability and reliability. However, like all PC-based controls, the platforms and software can become outdated over time. To address this, we offer upgrade solutions that provide the latest operating platforms and advanced vision technology.
We also offer the flexibility to add new features as your needs evolve. For example, if you have new machines with RFID chip systems, these can be retrofitted to your presetter. Other upgrades include QR code readers, printers, network connections, and additional software modules such as TeachIn, Toolexchange, and Contour. For seamless data transfer across networks, we provide post-processors to ensure smooth integration with third-party applications.
Upgrading your presetter revitalises the asset, equipping it with a new, more powerful PC, an upgraded Microsoft Windows operating system, and the latest application software, including EASY or kOne, PictureStart, TeachIn, and Balluff (where applicable). We also offer camera and light source upgrades to the latest technology.
In most cases, these upgrades can be completed in just one day, minimising disruption to tool setting on the shop floor.
