MPS is the most advanced and accurate spindle for tool presetting. The careful design enables fast change over of tool shank types without compromising accuracy. The inserts can easily be replaced if damaged and when new tool types are introduced to the shop floor you only need to buy the insert to suit. 

  • The MPS insert makes it easy to switch from one shank type to another 
  • Engage the extraction handle, lift out the insert and place in the stand provided.
  • Disengage the handle and engage in the next MPS insert required and insert back in the presetter spindle.
  • This process takes just seconds and the high accuracy is maintained
  • No adaptors needed that can add another runout tolerance 
  • Face and taper location on the bearing housing
  • The pull back forces on the presetter engage the tool in the same way it would be clamped in the machine spindle.
  • Ensures the tool is measured in the same position it will be used in the machine spindle.
